Matthew Higgs, chief curator at White Columns, is the juror for the 2009 Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson Annual. Artists living within a 100 mile radius of the Capital Region are invited to submit works to be considered. The exhibit will be held from June 25-Aug. 8. Postmark deadline for submissions is March 25.
Walkway on the Hudson in Poughkeepsie is seeking artists to create emblems and facilitate flag making workshops in which flags representing cities and town along the Hudson will be created and used in a processional that will mark the official opening of the pedestrian bridge spanning the river in Poughkeepsie.
