The Tamarind Institute is hosting an artist talk by Danielle Orchard on Wednesday, April 17 at 5:30pm. Orchard is the third recipient of the Frederick Hammersley Artist Residency.
The talk will be held at George Pearl Hall Auditorium in the UNM School of Architecture and Planning building across from Tamarind at Central and Cornell Ave. Seating for the talk is limited and registration is recommended - this can be done at https://orchardattamarind.eventbrite.com.

Conversation: Contemporary Art Journalism Then and Now at 516 ARTS, Thursday, April 25
516 ARTS and The Magazine Speaker Series kicks off on Thursday, April 25 at 7pm at 516 Arts. Contemporary Art Journalism Then & Now brings together Bill Peterson, former publisher of ArtSpace Magazine (1976-1993) and Lauren Tresp, publisher of The Magazine.
The Speaker series which is being presented in connection with 516 ARTS current exhibit In Our Own Backyard and continues with two more installments:
