Robert C. Morgan is an art critic, a poet and an artist. He has a master’s degree in Fine Arts and a PhD in art history. As an art critic he has published hundreds of articles and reviews in magazines and journals.

Mr. Morgan is coming to Yellow Bird to discuss how art is marketed and how that marketing affects the way we view art, the way we talk about art, and the way we understand art. His discussion will cover the role of the market and the media in contemporary art and how they affect the future of art.

Mr. Morgan will also discuss the meaning of all this for new and more modest collectors who want to start and build their own collections based on there own sensibilities.

An open question period and discussion will follow Mr. Morgan’s talk.
